Right Click on Cross Section Grid - CS Software Help


While editing the cross section seldom, you may have to make some small changes in cross section.

When you have selected a particular cross section, respective cross section data will be available in grid format just below the drawing preview screen. you can modify distances and values of the cross section data up to 20th layer. When you change distance or level and by refreshing the drawing, you can visually see a modified cross section.

There are some more options provided at the mouse Right Click event.
1. Insert a Row

4. Cutting and Filling

1. Insert Row: If you wish to insert a value at another distance, say you have levels at distance 2 and 4.5 and you want to insert another level at distance 2.75 then select 'Insert Row' and specify the distance 3.75 and specify the level you want to insert. In case, if you want the software to automatically find the level at distance 3.75 considering the available value, then you can click on 'Interpolate' button next to value text box. There if you select the layer and specify the distance, interpolated value will get displayed. Once you enter distance and level, you can insert a row of data by clicking on the 'OK' button.

2. Delete Row: right click on a grid by selecting the row, which you want to delete.

3. Find Value: You can find an interpolated value at any given distance w.r.t selected layer considering the available value with this option.

4. Cutting and Filling: By selecting this option, you will come to know the cutting or filling value at each offset available in the cross section between area calculation layers.
