ESurvey Interpolate is merged into ESurvey CADD - Refer to ESurvey CADD Release Notes

INTERPOLATE - LAND SURVEY DATA
An easy way to interpolate points at any intervals using the actual surveyed data for generating Cross Sections along the Longitudinal Section. Interpolation along an Alignment using any of the three methods – Straight line, TIN or 3D interpolation In this data if you want to find out value at a given point, say interpolate value at a any two selected text. You can select any two text it will calculated the interpolation point.

Go to E-Survey CADD -> Interpolate Using Tin Methods-> At a given Point

It will ask for Type Scanning Radius , give particular radius.

Then Select the point It Will display the interpolate value at the selected point

This will not be regularly used.
The regular used is suppose a that is your L-Section line and if you want offset values along the cross section. Then we need the offset the values. So in this example i am going to explain how data can be interpolate very quickly alone the alignment with given offset lines.

Select  ESurvey CADD-> Interpolate using Tin Methods-> At cross section L section offset line into section.

And select the cross section line. Now you can see that software has interpolate the levels alone all the intersection of offset lines.

INTERPOLATE USING 3D INTERPOLATION
If we do interpolation using Tin method for project like irrigation project,  Then the result accepted may not be correct. When interpolation is done using triangulation methods and such factors are nullified because triangulation depends on how the software makes the triangulation. If it has taken two point of the button site and one point on the higher site. The influence of button site is more on that point, similarly tow top point has taken and one button point has taken. In a triangle which contribute to interpolation then the influence of top point will be more because of that the interpolate values not be exact. In some of the software’s this concept is handled with the concept with called as break  line but in Esurvey product handled with 3d polylines methods.

Select  ESurvey CADD-> Interpolate using 3D Interpolation-> At cross section L section offset intersection Point (IDI)

Interpolation using Straight Line Method
ISM:  Interpolate at Midpoint of selected Texts
Interpolating elevation text at the midpoint of two selected texts is a common interpolate requirement. Using the ‘ISM’ command you can interpolate a point at the midpoint of the two selected elevation texts. After which the newly interpolated text value will be created in a layer called ‘Layer1’.

Select ESurvey CADD->Interpolate Using Straight Line Methods-> Interpolate Value at the Mid Point(ISM)

Select the First Text: Select the first elevation text.
Select the Second Text: Select the second elevation text.

INTERPOLATE VALUE AT A GIVEN POINT (ISP)
Using the ‘ISP’ command you can interpolate values i.e. elevations at a given point depending on any two elevation texts. Value at a given point is interpolated by measuring the distance of picked point and the reference texts. The value derived, will be based on the weighted average of the elevation values chosen.

Select ESurvey CADD ->Interpolate using Straight line Methods-> Interpolate values at given point (ISP)

Select the First Text: Select the first elevation text.
Select the Second Text: Select the second elevation text.
Pick a Point to Insert the Text: Pick a point to insert the interpolated text.
[Note: Point need not be necessarily between first and second elevation text]

Interpolate N Values between given points (ISN)
N number of Values can be interpolated in between selected texts using ‘ISN’ Command. Say you have two elevations at around 20 M distances and you wish to create 3 interpolated values between these two elevations. Use 'ISN' command specify 3 as number of elevations and ISN command will interpolate 3 elevations.

Select the First Text: Select the first text.
Select the Second Text: Select the second text.
Type the Number of Texts: Type the number of interpolated texts to be inserted between the two selected texts.

ISD: Interpolate values at given distance
‘ISD’ works similarly to ISN command, here instead of number of items we need to specify the distance between interpolated values. Difference between ISD and ISN command is almost similar to difference between Measure and Divide Command of CAD Package.
