Feature List - ESurvey CADD - Interpolate Module

ESurvey CADD offers Interpolation in 3 different ways
  1. Straight line method: Weighted Average Method / straight line method where with reference to any 2 selected texts interpolation can be done. Distances are measured from interpolation point to reference both the text and reference values are given weight depending on the distance and interpolated value is derived.
  2.  TIN Method: Using available points, a surface using the TIN method is created (Triangulated irregular Network). Each triangle is created in 3D and interpolation values are derived considering This is most widely used interpolation technique.
  3. 3D Line: 3D lines are created connecting reference code points. Value is interpolated depending on the particular 3D line segment. This type of interpolation gives better results when undulated surfaces like Irrigation canal are surveyed.
Prepare Drawing for Interpolation [MCH]
  1. Chainages can be marked on an alignment.
  2. Change Points can be included while marking chainages.
  3. Starting Chainage and Chainage Interval also can be changed as per requirement
  4. Chainages are drawn starting from the value given as per the direction of the line drawn in a CAD package.
  5. The created entities are highly layer controlled.
Interpolating with Straight Line Method
Interpolates value with weighted average method, Means interpolation is done with respect to distance of points from reference values.
  1. Interpolate at Midpoint of selected Texts
Interpolate at midpoint of two selected texts
  1. Interpolate value at given point
Interpolated value is created at any given point.
  1. Interpolate N Values between a set of given points
‘N’ Values can be created between any two given points
  1. Interpolate values at a given distance
Values can be created at a fixed distance between two points selected

Interpolation Using Surface
  1. Interpolate the values by creating triangulation with available data.
  2. Interpolated values can be created at the intersections of Chainage lines and alignment with a single click.
  3. The created entities are highly layer controlled.
  4. This cross section data can be exported to the interface with a single click to generate the cross sections with the interpolated data.
Interpolation using 3D Line  
  1. The values can be interpolated with the 3D lines available in the CAD package.
  2. The Value can be interpolated at a selected point
  3. The interpolated values can be created at all the intersections of chainage lines and Alignment lines provided they are present in particular Layers.
  4. This cross section data can be exported to the interface with a single click to generate the cross sections with the interpolated data.
